The Hillel at the University of Iowa boasts a large space made for Jewish students to come together to learn, study, eat, pray, and celebrate. The University has hundreds of Jewish graduate and undergraduate students. Many of those students are involved in the Greek system, in both traditionally Jewish and non-Jewish houses. Hillel is active in social justice and community service around campus and Iowa City. Arts and culture programming are popular as well. UI students integrate into the local Jewish community, serving as youth group advisors and religious school teachers.
